Tokyo builder develops method to demolish buildings from the inside out
According to Ichihara, buildings taller than 100 meters — or around 330 feet — tall are generally torn down after 30 to 40 years. There are 99 buildings in Japan of that height that will be that old in the next 10 years, so it stands to reason that — if successful — this technique will be used multiple times in the next few years.
It’s a small flash of light, but NASA scientists are calling it the largest moon explosion they have ever seen. It was caused by a boulder that they say was roughly 1 foot wide and weighed about 88 pounds.
